On the plains you will see one of the best preserved examples of holm oak woods typical of the La Mancha region – the Robledal Hill. On this path you will see birds of prey and olive groves.
ITINERARY: The route leaves the town on the Carabaña M-221 road. You immediately take a forest track on the right. Stay on this track which will take you out of the town. You will see a path off to the left after walking about 1 km out of the town through cultivated olive groves. Continue on for a little more than a kilometre until you reach a big track which leads on the left to the M-229. The route follows this road to the km.31 – some 2 kms. There you take a path on the right, the only one which comes out on the right onto the M-229. You border this leaving olive groves on your left. At the next two cross-roads, separated by 500 metres, you take the right-hand path. After the last crossing you continue about one kilometre until you come to a forest track, wider than the path you are on. You will go down to the town on this, still amidst olive trees on both sides of the track. When you reach the field with the gully there is a crossing and you take the right-hand one. One km. on, at the next cross-paths, take the left path leading to the town by the cemetery.
