PINE FOREST ROUTE

On this route you will see the pine forest and the Barranco de la Cueva (the Cave Gully). There are blackberry bushes, some abandoned vines, olive trees, almond trees, fig trees and the odd walnut tree, silent witnesses of any visitors who wander through this countryside. The path is narrow and stony. On the way up from the Dehesilla Gully, it peters out in parts.
ITINERARY: It leaves from the Valdecarabaña Path in direction of the Dehesilla. The path goes on the right of the Cueva stream for about 500 metres. At one km. from the town there is a crossing. Continue on the right-hand path up to the next crossing. This is where you will start the return journey taking the left-hand path and, after 500 metres, the right-hand one. Another 500 metres on you will have to cross the M-224 and continue on the left-hand track, the largest one until you reach a crossing with two more paths, right and left. Taking the left one you will return to the town.
