THE RISCO CAVES PATH

This path leaves from the town and finishes up in the Risco Caves. The journey is almost flat and not difficult. On this path you will be able to recognise and appreciate the attractive and interesting results of geological, biological and human influence in the area. Today there are some 50 caves, divided into two groups, separated by a narrow gully. They were declared a National Monument in 1931.
ITINERARY: You leave the town crossing under the old N-III in the direction of the cemetery. The cemetery is on your right. From there you can’t miss the path; it is sign-boarded and equipped with benches and a lookout over the Tajuña. Go under the A 3 and follow the signs.
